New Activision job list hints at Telephone call of Duty subscription service "CoD 2.0"

Now, information technology seems like Activision are set to follow suit with Call of Duty, with a new job advert posted by the publisher mentioning "CoD 2.0," along with the thought of "subscription-based content."
The listing, which has since been removed, was for an Influencer & Talent Marketing Director, who would "be responsible for the management of a globe-class Influencer program that will expand the overall reach of Call of Duty."

While this is all quite normal, it was one specific piece of text that caught the attention of Call of Duty fans. Activision mentioned that "2022 is a stellar opportunity for Telephone call of Duty, with an extraordinary lineup of innovations in curated player experiences, multi-platform gameplay, subscription-based content, mobile game evolution, and a move to always-on community and actor connectivity."
